我是一個(gè)半月前投稿到j(luò)ournal of physical chemistry C,昨天收到被拒消息。這是我第一次投稿,一點(diǎn)經(jīng)驗(yàn)沒(méi)有,現(xiàn)在很糾結(jié),請(qǐng)大家給點(diǎn)意見(jiàn)是經(jīng)過(guò)認(rèn)真修改后重新投稿還是修改后改投其它雜志比較好,我現(xiàn)在都博三了,非常著急,審稿意見(jiàn)如下:謝謝大家啦! Reviewer: 1 Recommendation: This paper is not recommended because it does not provide new physical insights. Comments: Review of the manuscript (jp-2011-00693f) By Wang et al. “Study of interfacial enhancement of carbon nanotube and carbon fiber reinforced composites”. This manuscript presents the effect of CNTs grafted on a CF on interfacial shear strength. The models were used to estimate the interfacial shear strength of CNTs/CF reinforced composites. The idea is new. However, in this manuscript, there is no highlight result, and the novelty and scientific significance of this manuscript are lacking, and the discussion on why the interfacial shear strength of CNTs/CF reinforced composites is enhanced is superficial. In my opinion, it is not suitable for publication in J. Phys. Chem Reviewer: 2 Recommendation: This paper is probably publishable, but should be reviewed again in revised form before it is accepted. Comments: Review of manuscript jp-2011-00693f This work is an attempt to probe the reinforcing potential of Carbon Fiber (CF) grafted with carbon nano-tubes (CNTs) using molecular mechanics and molecular dynamics simulations. As far as I understand the study is based on previously published data, and on simulations of microdroplet tests. The issue is definitely of importance and novel, and the theoretical results, as an upper boundary to the reinforcing ability of CNTs grafted fibers, are interesting. On the negative side, however, it seems to me that the authors have only input previously published data into commercial simulation software. Moreover, there is a serious lack of references to a substantial amount of recent experimental results (CNT-grafted on single fibers) published in this field, which are actually fully relevant to the theoretical calculations presented by the authors. The reference list regarding work of the last 10 years about interfacial adhesion between CNTs and polymers is very incomplete as well. In view of this I cannot recommend publication of the manuscript in its present form. |
