Applied Surface Science讓修改,接受的可能大嗎?

Yours sincerely, Henrik Rudolph Editor Applied Surface Science Reviewers' comments: Reviewer #1: In general, the paper entitled "Defects in the in-situ synthesized TiB2/Fe composite coatings during PTA process"by Wu Daoliang, Wang Xibao, Zhang Panpan, Cai Lijuan, Sun Hongling is interesting for the reader. However,paper in the present form is not recommended for publication? 1. The English language used is not up to the mark because some sentences are confusing and there are many mistakes. Also, some parts should be better discussed and some experimental details presented. The discussion section must be extended providing explanations of some results. A significant revision of the language is called for. Authors are requested to seek some external help in this regard. 2. The unit of heat input formulation are errors. For heat input, which parameters is a key factor to form defect. 3. What is the macro defect? 4. In the part of results and discussion, there are some confusions of the influence of the total heat input and energy density on the defect. 5. Are there any CO2 porosity or Fe3C in the coatings? |
