采用在輪胎膠粉熔融擠出過程中添加線性高分子材料作為溶脹劑和承載流體并提高雙螺桿擠出機(jī)螺桿轉(zhuǎn)速和擠出反應(yīng)溫度的方法,研究了輪胎膠粉種類、溶脹劑品種和脫硫反應(yīng)促進(jìn)劑類型對(duì)高剪切應(yīng)力誘導(dǎo)輪胎膠脫硫反應(yīng)產(chǎn)物的凝膠含量、溶膠分子鏈結(jié)構(gòu)、凝膠顆粒尺寸、門尼粘度值及其再硫化材料力學(xué)性能的影響。實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明: 1)隨雙螺桿擠出機(jī)的螺桿轉(zhuǎn)速的提高,脫硫反應(yīng)混合物中的輪胎膠粉顆粒所受到得機(jī)械剪切應(yīng)力作用增強(qiáng),強(qiáng)烈的機(jī)械剪切應(yīng)力作用引起了膠粉顆粒表面交聯(lián)網(wǎng)絡(luò)的斷裂、降解和解交聯(lián)反應(yīng),引起了脫硫共混物中溶膠含量的增加、凝膠含量的減少及共混丁苯橡膠再硫化材料中凝膠顆粒尺寸的明顯減;擠出機(jī)螺桿轉(zhuǎn)速越快或擠出反應(yīng)溫度越高,則此種斷裂反應(yīng)即越顯著,引起產(chǎn)物凝膠含量的下降就越明顯。 2)當(dāng)輪胎膠粉以丁苯橡膠為主時(shí),橡膠分子主鏈穩(wěn)定、不易斷鏈,所得脫硫共混物共混丁苯橡膠再硫化材料的力學(xué)性能較高。當(dāng)以天然橡膠或異戊橡膠為主時(shí),橡膠分子主鏈穩(wěn)定性能較差,脫硫反應(yīng)中易斷裂、降解,所得脫硫共混物共混丁苯橡膠再硫化材料的力學(xué)性能相對(duì)較低。 3)三種聚合物型溶脹劑EPDM4770、EPDM3745和POE8150相對(duì)比較,EPDM4770與輪胎膠粉A具有較好的互容性和較高的分子量,可引起脫硫共混物凝膠含量的明顯下降、門尼粘度值得減小和共混丁苯橡膠再硫化材料力學(xué)性能的明顯提高。在較好的脫硫反應(yīng)條件下(220℃和1000rpm),以EPDM4770為溶脹劑與丁苯橡膠為主的膠粉A熔融擠出脫硫反應(yīng)時(shí),所得脫硫共混物共混丁苯橡膠再硫化材料的拉伸強(qiáng)度和斷裂伸長分別達(dá)到20.2MPa和521%,分別達(dá)到丁苯生膠硫化材料拉伸強(qiáng)度(24.0MPa)和斷裂伸長率(356.0%)的84.2%和146%。 4)本高剪切應(yīng)力誘導(dǎo)脫硫方法脫硫反應(yīng)較為完全,所得脫硫共混物的分子質(zhì)量相對(duì)較低,單純采用脫硫共混物直接再硫化材料的力學(xué)性能來判別輪胎膠粉脫硫反應(yīng)的效果并不適宜。 5)在輪胎膠粉熔融擠出的高剪切應(yīng)力誘導(dǎo)脫硫反應(yīng)過程中,烷基酚多硫化物促進(jìn)劑420和聚合型多硫化物促進(jìn)劑450具有明顯抑制交聯(lián)副反應(yīng)和促進(jìn)脫硫反應(yīng)的作用,其中 450更具有明顯的抗氧化降解、抑制加成副反應(yīng)和保護(hù)產(chǎn)物雙鍵的功能。在促進(jìn)劑450存在的最佳脫硫反應(yīng)條件(220℃和1000 rpm)下,所得脫硫共混物共混丁苯橡膠再硫化材料SBR/(DGTR/EPDM)(70/30)的拉伸強(qiáng)度和斷裂伸長率分別達(dá)到21.5MPa和639%,分別達(dá)到丁苯生膠混煉膠硫化材料拉伸強(qiáng)度(24.0 MPa)和斷裂伸長率(356%)的89.6%和179%。 The devulcanization reaction of ground tire rubber (GTR) induced through a high shear stress come from increasing screw rotation speed during melt extruding of the mixture with thermoplastic elastomers (EPDM3745、EPDM4770、POE8150) was investigated by adding polysulfide as a promoting agent and changing the grade of GTR. The gel content, Infra-red spectrum and mooney viscosity of devulcanized ground tire rubber (DGTR) were measured, the mechanical properties and Scanning electron microscope (SEM) of the revulcanized blends of styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) with DGTR were characterized. The results show that the high shear stress can stress-induce the chain scission and cross-link scission which caused the network breakdown, the gel content was decreased and the mechanical properties increased with the higher stress condition. The scission is much more obvious and the gel content decreases with increase of the screw rotation speed and the reaction temperature. In the equal reaction conditions, the mechanical properties of revulcanized blends DGTR/SBR by ground tire rubber composed by SBR were more excellent than composed by natural rubber(NR) or isoprene rubber(IR). The main chain instability of NR and IR made the crosslink easily broken down, which leads to the properties of revulcanized blends of DGTR/SBR with low quality. The revulcanized blends of SBR/DGTR/EPDM4770 was investigated by SEM found small gel particle on account of low mooney viscosity and gel content. The SBR/DGTR/EPDM4770 with more preferable microscopic topography and mechanical properties made good main performance than POE8150 and EPDM3745. In the devulcanization condition at 220 ℃ and 1000 rpm, the tensile strength and elongation at break of the revulcanized blend SBR/(DGTR/EPDM4770)(70/30) can reach to 20.2 MPa and 521%, and reach to 84.2%, 146% of the vulcanized SBR (24.0MPa,356%) respectively. The promoting agents of polysulfide 420 or 450 can suppress the cross-linking reaction and accelerate the devulcanization during the extruding process and increase the tensile strength and elongation at break of the revulcanized blend SBR/(DGTR/EPDM). Especially, the promoting agent of polysulfide 450 can further prevent the oxidized decomposition and avoid the additive reaction of the double binds in the reaction mixture during the extruding process. During the devulcanization process of GTR in low temperature or screw speed, the quality standards by measuring the mechanical properties of revulcanized DGTR is inappropriate. In the best devulcanization condition at 220 ℃ and 1000 rpm and in presence of polysulfide 450, the tensile strength and elongation at break of the revulcanized blend SBR/(DGTR/EPDM4770)(70/30) can reach to 21.5 MPa and 639%, and reach to 89.6%, 179% of the vulcanized SBR (24.0MPa,356%) respectively. |

The devulcanization reaction of ground tire rubber (GTR) was investigated by the high shear stress from increasing screw rotation speed during melt extruding of the mixture with thermoplastic elastomers (EPDM3745、EPDM4770、POE8150) . The tensile strength and elongation at break of the revulcanized blend SBR/(DGTR/EPDM4770)(70/30) can reach to 20.2 MPa and 521%, which accounted 84.2%, 146% of that of the vulcanized SBR (24.0MPa,356%) respectively when the speed is 1000rpm at 220℃. The promoting agents of polysulfide 420 or 450 can suppress the cross-linking reaction and accelerate the devulcanization during the extruding process with the increase of the tensile strength and elongation at break of the revulcanized blend SBR/(DGTR/EPDM). Moreover, the polysulfide 450 can further prevent the oxidation ,decomposition and avoid the additive reaction of the double binds in the reaction mixture during the extruding process. During the devulcanization process of GTR at low temperature or low screw speed, the measurement of quality standards of the mechanical properties of revulcanized DGTR is inappropriate.
