https://iiirc.hitsz.edu.cn/IBICA2011/index.html The 2nd International Conference on Innovations in Bio-inspired Computing and Applications (BICA 2011) 21st-23rd December 2011, Shenzhen, China BICA 2011 is the 2nd International Conference on Innovations in Bio-inspired Computing and Applications. The conference series is previously known as the International Symposium on Bio-inspired Computing and Their Applications, which was hosted by Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University of India with great success. The aim of BICA 2011 is to provide a platform for world research leaders and practitioners, to discuss the “full spectrum” of current theoretical developments, emerging technologies, and innovative applications of Bio-inspired Computing. Bio-inspired Computing is currently one of the most exciting research areas, and it is continuously demonstrating exceptional strength in solving complex real life problems. The main driving force of the conference is to further explore the intriguing potential of Bio-inspired Computing. BICA 2011 will be held in Shenzhen of China, which is one of the fastest growing cities in the world, and it is the financial, manufacturing, and international trade powerhouse of China. The city will paint the perfect backdrop for BICA 2011. The BICA 2011 organizing committee is inviting the submission of papers that present high quality, original, and not previously published work in the related areas. All submissions will be thoroughly peer-reviewed by multiple reviewers to ensure quality and unbiased comments. Papers that discuss the successful application of Bio-inspired computing techniques in solving real life problem will be highly regarded. BICA 2011 proceedings will be published by IEEE Computer Society Conference Publishing Services, which is typically indexed by IET INSPEC, EI (Compendex), Thomson ISTP, and DBLP. Exceptional quality papers will also be invited for further extension, and be considered for publication on journals and book series that are strongly associated with the conference series. The scope of BICA 2011 includes, but is not limited to, the following topics: - Artificial Immune Systems - Artificial Intelligence - Artificial Neural Networks - Cellular Automaton - Cognitive Modeling - Differential Evolution - Emergent Systems - Evolutionary Strategies/Programming - Fuzzy Logic - Genetic Algorithms/Programming - Organic Computing - P Systems - Particle Swarm Optimization - Rule-based Reasoning Important Dates - The deadline for first paper submission: 14th July - The deadline for notification of acceptance: 30th August - The deadline for camera-ready paper submission: 30th September Official Conference Website https://bit.kuas.edu.tw/~bica11/index.html |
