A藥具有誘導自噬的作用。近年來對自噬的研究十分廣泛，在正常的多細胞生物體中，進行正常的能量代謝和生物活動時，會產(chǎn)生一些不必要的老化的細胞器或者蛋白以及代謝物，自噬在清除這些代謝廢物進而回收能量為細胞正常運轉(zhuǎn)所用中發(fā)揮著重要作用，一旦自噬作用受影響，細胞當中一些正常循環(huán)不能有效實現(xiàn)，正如精密調(diào)控的程序出現(xiàn)累積錯誤，系統(tǒng)必然出現(xiàn)問題，生物體自發(fā)性腫瘤的幾率就增多。一些研究結(jié)果發(fā)現(xiàn)， 腫瘤發(fā)生與自噬缺陷有關(guān)。 自噬基因Beclin-1為雜合子的小鼠發(fā)生自發(fā)性惡性腫瘤的風險增高； 乳腺癌、 卵巢癌和前列腺癌以及白血病患者Beclin-1等位基因缺失的比例高于健康人。A藥作為中藥中特有的成分，從藥用植物當中提取出來，具有一定的抗腫瘤活性，其具體對于腫瘤細胞的其它作用卻鮮有研究。為研究A藥在抗腫瘤作用中所發(fā)揮的作用提供了新的靶點和研究方向。 [ Last edited by 前世今生 on 2011-7-26 at 13:25 ] |

| Drug A has the effect to induce autophagy.Autophagy has drawn great attention in research community in recent years.In the normal multi-cellular organisms，during the process of energy metabolism and biological activities ,there will produce some unnecessary organelles or proteins as well as metabolites and autophagy can play a pivotal role in clearing up such wastes in order to provide energy for the normal cellular functions.And once there is something wrong with the autophagy，some normal cellular processes will fail .Just as that the accumulated errors to a delicately regulated program will result in systematic problems ,the abnormality with autophagy can led to increased likelihood for the spontaneous tumorigenesis.Now,amounting evidence shows that there is close association between autophagy defect and tumorigenesis One study showed that in the heterozygous autophagy gene Beclin-1 mice,the odds of spontaneous malignancies increased and other studies demonstrated that the probability of loss of allelic Beclin-1 is higher in the breast cancer ,ovary cancer ,prostate cancer and leukemia patients than in the otherwise healthy control population.Drug A can be extracted from medicinal herbs and has anti-cancer effects but the specific mechanism for its anti-cancer effects is rarely studied.The autophagy can be a novel target and direction for the study of anti-cancer role of drug A. |

| A drug processes an effect of induced autophagy. In recent years, there are a wide rang of researches on the autophagy, in normal multicellular organisms, normal energy metabolism and biological activity will produce some unnecessary and aged organelles, proteins or metabolites. The autophagy plays an important role in cleaning these metabolic wastes for energy recovery and then used for the normal functioning of cells. Some of the normal cell cycles can not be effectively achieved when the autophagy was influenced, just as the precise and regulatory programs occurs cumulative errors, the system will inevitably emerge problems, the probability of spontaneous tumors in organisms will increase. Some studies show that there is a close relation between tumorigenesis and autophagy defects. For instance, if the autophagy gene Beclin-1 of mice is heterozygous, it’s much easier for them to get spontaneous malignant tumor. The loss of Beclin-1 allele for breast cancer, ovarian cancer, prostate cancer and leukemia patients is higher than healthy people. A drug, which contains specific components of traditional Chinese medicine, is extracted from the medicinal plant with some anti-tumor activity. However, its specific affect to the tumor cells is rarely studied. This provides a new target and research direction for the study of anti-tumor effect of A drug. |

| Drug A is inductive and autophagic. There has been a wide range of researches on autophagy in recent years. As we know, there are some unnecessary aging organelles or protein and metabolites produced in normal energy metabolism and bioactivities within normal multicellular organisms. Autophagy plays an important role in the clearance of these metabolic waste which helps recover the energy for cells to work properly. However, some of the normal cycle in cells will not be realized once the role of autophagy is affected, for instance, if there appear accumulated errors in a program, which has been manipulated exquisitely, the system can by no means operate properly. As a result, the rate of spontaneous tumor in organisms will increase. There are some reports claiming that the occurrence of tumor is related to the autophagy defects. Autophagy gene Beclin-1 increased the risk of heterozygous mice having spontaneous malignant tumors. Those who have breast cancer, ovarian cancer, prostate cancer or leukemia have a higher rate of Beclin-1 allelic loss than normal healthy people. Drug A is a pecular ingredient in traditional Chinese medicine. It is extracted from the medicinal plant and has certain anti-tumor activity, but its specific effects on tumor cells has rarely been studied. Thus, the study of the anti-tumor effect of drug A provides us with a new angle. |
