客座編輯，做還是不做？ 已有8人參與
|

前段時(shí)間收到一個(gè)編輯部的email，讓我作為客座編輯組織一個(gè)topic，作為期刊的一期特刊。我想這也不復(fù)雜，就給出一個(gè)可能邀請(qǐng)的作者名單和論文題目的清單。然后說(shuō)是送給主編審查。 今天給我回了emai，說(shuō)主編已經(jīng)l同意這個(gè)特刊的組織了。 可看到后面就有點(diǎn)夸張了，原來(lái)不僅邀請(qǐng)稿件要我做，所有組織審稿、回復(fù)意見(jiàn)還有諸多表格都是我來(lái)做的。 I am pleased to inform you that you have been appointed as the Guest Editor of "XXXXXXXX” . In your capacity as the Guest Editor of the hot topic issue, You will be responsible to conduct the following procedures. 1- First you collect all the papers, which are going to publish in the Hot Topic and Collection of paper should be from reputed authors in the field, the contributors and authors for the thematic issue should not be from the same institute and with at least half of the contributions from different countries e.g., USA, UK, France, Canada, Germany, etc. At the time of submission, the Guest Editor (GE) will have to provide a brief description of the proposed topic outlining the aims & scope of the issue, the list of titles with author names and affiliations. 2- After the receiving of all manuscripts, please conduct the review process of all the submitted papers, as this is the responsibility of Guest Editor. The reviewers must be internationally recognized. Guest Editor could also review the relevant manuscripts, However, if there are any contribution to be included in the hot topic issue from the guest editor the paper must be sent to the Publisher to conduct its peer review. 3-The re-review process should be conducted after receiving revised manuscript in order to receive final approval from reviewers. 4-Then these all revised, accepted manuscripts should be forwarded to Editorial Office for further proceedings via email at XXX@XXX 5- Then Guest Editor must submit us a complete issue by submitting the below information for each peer-reviewed and accepted articles: ·Editorial of Issue. ·At least two referee comments received for that article along with the name of their referees. ·Rebuttal letter (responses to referee comments) received from author for that article. ·Approval statement of the referees for the revised version of that article. ·The date when you receive articles from the author. · The dates when articles forward to the reviewers and when reviewers send back the comments with dates. ·The date when you forward those comments to author for revision purpose. ·The date when you receive the revised articles from author side with rebuttal letter. · The date when you send the revised manuscript for final approval or acceptance or re-review to reviewers. ·Also please fill and send the attached covering letter of each article. ·Verification form attached with this email for the entire hot topic issue to be submitted along with the complete hot topic issue. 6- The reference style of each manuscript must be strictly according to the IFA of the journal.
