求幫忙理解一下這句話的意思 有關(guān)蛋白折疊的

| Although proteins with internal duplications in which the two halves of the protein have opposite orientations in the membrane are quite common among the E. coli inner membrane proteins，we conclude that homologs with opposite membrane orientations, as well as proteins with a dual topolgy, are exceedingly rare. Possibly, protein folding and assembly are more efficient when the two oppositely oriented halves are part of a single polypeptide chain than when they aree expressed separately. |

在E. coli 膜內(nèi)蛋白之間，盡管具有內(nèi)部重合的蛋白非常常見，在膜內(nèi)該蛋白的兩部分互相對立，但是我們推斷在同系物中具有對立膜方向的包括具有二元陣列排列結(jié)構(gòu)的蛋白都極其少見�？赡艿脑蚴钱�(dāng)兩個對立膜方向的部分在同一多肽鏈上時，蛋白質(zhì)的折疊組裝比其自己獨立表達更有效。 有一點亂，主要是對于那個“opposite orientations ”不知道如何理解更好，大概就是這種現(xiàn)象很少見，出現(xiàn)這種結(jié)果的原因是這兩個部分在一個多肽鏈上，并且由于蛋白質(zhì)折疊和組裝所產(chǎn)生的。樓主自己理解哈，僅供參考~~  |
