|
A shortcut biological nitrogen removal (SBNR) process converts ammonium directly through nitrite to nitrogen gas, thus requiring less aeration and carbon. We evaluated a hybrid SBNR (HSBNR) reactor containing an anoxic tank followed by an aerobic tank and a settling tank. The aerobic tank was filled with polyvinyl alcohol sponge media (20%, v/v) to attach and retain ammonium oxidizers. Two configurations of the HSBNR reactor were tested for treating a wastewater with high strength ammonium and organic electron donor. The HSNBR reactors accumulated nitrite stably for 1.5 years and maintained a high free ammonia (FA) concentration (20–25 mg/L) and a low dissolved oxygen (DO) concentration (<1 mg/L) in the aerobic tank. Apparently, the biofilm carriers increased the solids retention time (SRT) for ammonium oxidizers, while high FAand low DO selected against nitrite oxidizers and promoted direct denitrification of nitrite in the aerobic tank. The significant amount of chemical oxygen demand (COD) was removed by shortcut denitrification of nitrite in the anoxic tank. |

| 短程生物脫氮（SBNR）是將氨氣轉(zhuǎn)化成亞硝酸鹽后直接轉(zhuǎn)化成氮?dú)猓虼撕难趿�、碳消耗較少。我們?cè)O(shè)計(jì)一個(gè)混合型SBNR反應(yīng)器（HSBNR），其包括厭氧池，其后連接著好氧池、沉淀池。好氧池內(nèi)填充聚乙烯醇（20%，體積比）海綿介質(zhì)，用以吸附、保留氨氧化劑。使用兩種形態(tài)的HSBNR反應(yīng)器處理含高濃度氨及有機(jī)電子供體的廢水。經(jīng)1年測(cè)試HSBNR反應(yīng)器的好氧池內(nèi)維持著較高濃度的游離氨（FA，20-25 mg/L）、較低濃度的溶氧(DO，<1 mg/L)。很顯然，生物膜載體增加了胺氧化劑的固體保留時(shí)間（SRT）。另外一方面，高濃度的FA及較低的DO選定了亞硝酸鹽氧化劑，促進(jìn)了好氧池亞硝酸鹽直接脫氮。SBNR反應(yīng)器厭氧池顯著降低了化學(xué)耗氧量（COD）。 |
