求助投稿的Decision Letter的一句話的意思

As I said, the paper is well written but the title does not reflect the work reported in the paper. Actually what the authors call distinct morphologies is -as far as I can see- the formation of elongated or spherical nanoparticles and what they call controlled deposition is the study of the effect of PL and DA on the deposition of silica. I suggest to make this clear and precise in the title and to try to decrease the wording of the writing. For instance, to use in this manuscript the word morphogenesis to described the work carried out is too much a claim. 這段話是講我的題目要改，需要向其中加入PL and DA 之間的相互作用，各位親們，我覺得為了不觸怒他，還是改掉為妙，反正不是啥大問(wèn)題。對(duì)吧？ 關(guān)鍵是最后一句話，壓根不知道啥意思啊。。。倒數(shù)第二句話講到我應(yīng)該減少文章的措辭（不懂他在說(shuō)什么），然后，例如。。。就不知所云了。求解釋。 另外，這位審稿人的英語(yǔ)貌似不是很好，因?yàn)樗鶎懙南乱痪湓捵屛艺痼@了：It will useful to label the X-ray diffraction with d spacing rather than angle. 親們注意到了沒(méi)，will 后面竟然木有be 動(dòng)詞，所以我覺得For instance那句話可能也是個(gè)病句，親們湊合著看著猜猜他的意思吧。 |

我來(lái)試試看。 前一句說(shuō)你的標(biāo)題與內(nèi)容不完全吻合。即你說(shuō)的distinct morphologies 他認(rèn)為應(yīng)該是the formation of elongated或spherical nanoparticles， deposition 應(yīng)該是 the study of the effect of PL and DA on the deposition of silica 因此，建議你改寫文章標(biāo)題并準(zhǔn)確使用相關(guān)詞語(yǔ)（術(shù)語(yǔ)）。比如他認(rèn)為你文中用morphogenesis 指代你所進(jìn)行的研究范圍過(guò)大，你的研究只是該詞范圍的其中一部分，所得研究結(jié)果不足以說(shuō)明morphogenesis 的全面情況。 見笑了。 |
