CALL FOR PAPERS 收錄情況:EI收錄(目前是第十二屆,收錄不是問(wèn)題),并且已確定五位本領(lǐng)域的IEEE fellow到會(huì)作前沿講座。 2012 International Workshop on Machine-to-Machine Communications (M2MC 2012) 'Key' to the Future Cyber-Physical Systems https://www.cps-cn.org/M2MC2012 In Conjunction with IEEE CIT 2012, October 20-22, 2012, Chengdu, Sichuan, China https://www.ee.uestc.edu.cn/cit2012/ As a new business concept, Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications are born from original telemetry technology with the intrinsic features of automatic data transmissions and measurement from remote sources typically by cable or radio. M2M includes a number of technologies that need to be combined in a compatible manner to enable its deployment over a broad market of consumer electronics, and it offers a potential solution to the already saturated telecommunications market, with new services and applications, such as e-healthcare, smart city, smart grid, intelligent transportation, remote monitoring, and logistics. Such services and applications open a mass market and several business opportunities. With the capabilities of decision-making and autonomous control, M2M systems can be upgraded to Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS). This requires development of novel solutions to efficiently serve a huge number of devices that interact autonomously at a global level. It also opens a wide research area for future M2M communications, including investigations on scalability, wide-area coverage, energy-efficiency, heterogeneity, cooperation, cloud computing, intelligent real-time control, and security. Main topics of interest: –Scalable system architecture and components –Radio access technologies and protocols –Device, resource, data, and service management for M2M –Cloud support for M2M applications –Security, trust and privacy of M2M devices and services –Internetworking protocols and mechanisms –Semantic technologies for M2M –M2M in vehicular ad-hoc network, smart robots, smart grid, home networks, healthcare, and manufacturing systems –Channel and traffic models –Sensing, computing, and controlling technologies for M2M –Cyber-physical systems, cyber-transportation systems Important Dates Paper Submission: Jun. 01, 2012 Acceptance Notification: Jul. 20, 2012 Camera-Ready: Aug. 20, 2012 Registration Deadline: Aug. 20, 2012 Workshop Date: Oct. 20-22, 2012 Authors Guidelines Accepted and presented papers will be included into the IEEE Conference Proceedings published by IEEE CS Press (indexed by EI). Authors of accepted papers, or at least one of them, are requested to register and present their work at the conference, otherwise their papers will be removed from the digital libraries of IEEE CS and EI after the conference. Authors must use IT2012-Submission-System (https://cse.stfx.ca/~cit2012/sub/) to submit both abstracts and pdfs. Authors must use the IEEE template (https://www.ieee.org/conferences ... hing/templates.html) for Conference Proceedings to prepare their submission. Documentation and style files (Word, LaTeX) can be found at the IEEE site. Submissions should be a maximum of eight (8) pages, including figures and references.
