對(duì)撰寫論文有一個(gè)總體的概括，當(dāng)做背景知識(shí)看看。 Nature 創(chuàng)刊于1869年 成功的論文要具備什么？ Thoughtful research 最基本——發(fā)人深思的研究； Thorough preparation 投稿前——徹底的準(zhǔn)備； Logical exposition 撰寫時(shí)——合乎邏輯的論述； Content is essential, presentation is critical! 內(nèi)容是基礎(chǔ)，表達(dá)是關(guān)鍵！ 在開始寫文章之前。。。 Why does the topic interest YOU? 為什么對(duì)這課題感興趣？ What was thought/known/done before this work? 在此之前所想的/所知道的/曾經(jīng)做過的有哪些？ What are the key findings of your work? 主要結(jié)論是什么？ How does new data change thinking, or support current approach, or open new research avenues or fields? 新的數(shù)據(jù)如何改變思維/支持目前常用的方法/開辟新的研究途徑或領(lǐng)域？ Have you re-evaluated your original data? 有沒有重復(fù)檢查原始數(shù)據(jù)？ 編輯看重什么？ High degree of novelty or innovation 高度新穎性、創(chuàng)新性；創(chuàng)新≠first time Interesting to a broad range of readers 廣泛性； Significant step forward 科技上的一大進(jìn)步； Breakthrough in performance 突破性表現(xiàn)； High impact in the field 深遠(yuǎn)的影響； Important advance, providing new directions for research 在科學(xué)理論上有顯著的進(jìn)展，為研究提供新的方向。 開始寫文章 Write for both the beginner and the expert 為初級(jí)和專家級(jí)的人而寫； First paragraph of the article should be no higher than the level of an introductory undergraduate class 文章的第一段的困難度不要高于大學(xué)一年級(jí)的程度； Bulk of the paper at the level of a first-year graduate course in the field 文章的其他部分也應(yīng)該維持在研究生課程一年級(jí)的程度； If the article is not comprehensible to a broad range of people, then it might get rejected 如果文章過于復(fù)雜，過于專門，有可能不被發(fā)表 標(biāo)題 Clear and attractive! 準(zhǔn)確得體； Not too general or vague! 簡短精煉； Should include sufficient details for indexing purposes 應(yīng)該有足夠的細(xì)節(jié)，描述性語言； Does not normally include numbers or abbreviations 通常不包括數(shù)字或英語縮寫 摘要 問題在哪里——解決了什么問題——方法——研究帶來了什么應(yīng)用——結(jié)論 The most-read section of any paper! 最多人閱讀的部分； Aimed at readers outside the discipline 深入淺出，寫的簡單明了； 1-2 sentences to orient the reader, set hte stage, and provide context 入正題，一句起，兩句止 - A brief account of the background and rationale of the work 簡短解釋課題的背景和理由； - Concise results, with mention of methodology used 簡明描述結(jié)果與試驗(yàn)方法； - A statement of main conclusions (e.g. "Here we show..."  最后一句結(jié)論結(jié)果 Clarity and brevity 簡明扼要，展示數(shù)據(jù)并證明研究結(jié)果與目的一致； Number should be meaningful (give illustrative examples and compare those with known results from literature) 數(shù)據(jù)要有意義，如需要可與文獻(xiàn)中數(shù)據(jù)作對(duì)比； Use appropriate statistics, error analysis, check for accuracy and internal consistency 合理運(yùn)用統(tǒng)計(jì)，誤差分析，檢查數(shù)據(jù)的準(zhǔn)確性和一致性； Pay considerable attention to best way to present data (use tables and figures) 合理運(yùn)用圖表 圖表 Figures tell the story 一圖道千言； Order is absolutely critical 次序是關(guān)鍵； Strive for data-rich presentation 盡量使用數(shù)據(jù)豐富的圖表； Show as much raw data as possible. If n experiments were done for each data point, then show all points, rather than the average and standard deviation 原始數(shù)據(jù)越多越好 編輯閱讀文獻(xiàn)順序 標(biāo)題——摘要——結(jié)論——圖表——引言 Nature 文章特點(diǎn)采用主動(dòng)語態(tài)！ 要注意。。。 Write in active voice (e.g. "We did..." rather than "It was done..." 主動(dòng)語態(tài)；All variables should be defined 界定所有變量； Avoid non-preferential use of "this", "that", "these"... 避免使用“this”，“that”，“these”...； Avoid jargons and the excessive use of abbreviations and acronyms 避免使用太多縮寫或縮略語； Never say "for various reasons"... 避免使用“for various reasons”... 投稿信 A letter that you submit together with your manuscript but in a separate file to the editors 投稿信跟稿件是分開的； Authors are encouraged to write cover letter 鼓勵(lì)作者寫投稿信； Restate main message and significance of paper 重申文章的基本內(nèi)容及其重要性； Include a separate summary for non-specialist audience 撰寫另外一份深入淺出的摘要； Concise and clear, less than one page 簡短明確，重點(diǎn)突出，最好不要超一頁 同行評(píng)審 To provide a quality control mechanism for the scientific literature 品質(zhì)控制； To obtain expert analysis of the technical merit, potential impact and general interest of a manuscript 專業(yè)評(píng)審； To aid authors in improving their papers for publication 幫助作者修改論文； To provide editors with scientific insight necessary to make informed decisions 幫助編輯做出最后決定 文章被拒絕的原因 Technical concerns raised by referees 技術(shù)問題； Lack of mechanistic insight or generality 缺乏深層次的了解或廣泛性； Incremental advance over published literature 僅是科技上的一小步； Failure to meet editorial criteria for a discipline 跟辦刊宗旨，涵蓋內(nèi)容不吻合； Results too preliminary, requiring more study 結(jié)論屬于初步的，需要更多的研究去證實(shí)； Speculative, unsubstantiated or specialized conclusions 假設(shè)性，證據(jù)不足或過于專門的結(jié)論 成功投稿 Editors work with authors to finalize the text and figures 編輯會(huì)對(duì)文章進(jìn)行修飾，以便提高文字的可讀性； News & views/press coverage 廣泛性新聞/媒體報(bào)道； Advance online publication (AOP) 提前在線出版； Great covers! 雜志封面 |
