4th International Conference on Computational Methods (ICCM2012) The 4th International Conference on Computational Methods (ICCM2012) will be held in Gold Coast, Australia from 25 to 27 November 2012. Gold Coast is a beautiful coastal city of Australia located in South East Queensland, close to the state capital Brisbane. Gold Coast is well known as a major international tourist destination with its sunny subtropical climate, beautiful beaches, canal and waterway systems, its high-rise skyline, nightlife, and rainforest hinterland (https://www.goldcoast.qld.gov.au/t_standard.aspx?pid=1). The ICCM is an international conference providing an international forum for exchange ideas on recent advances in areas related to computational methods, numerical modelling & simulation, as well as their applications in engineering and science. It will accommodate presentations on a wide range of topics to facilitate inter-disciplinary exchange of ideas in science, engineering and related disciplines, and foster various types of academic collaborations. All papers accepted for publication in the proceedings will be subject to a full peer review. A large number of papers will be published in international journal " Applied Mechanics and Materials " [ISSN: 1660-9336, Trans Tech Publications] and will be indexed in the major academic databases, including EI Compendex, Thomson ISI (ISTP), and other indexing services. Selected papers will be nvited to be developed into a full journal paper for publication in special issues of the SCI-indexed journals. The confirmed special journal issues include Journal SCI Impact Factors 1 International Journal of Computational Methods SCI JIF=1.2 2 Engineering Computations SCI JIF=0.9 3 Applied Mathematical Modelling SCI JIF=1.4 4 Advanced Science Letters. SCI JIF= 1.253 Call for Papers The scope of ICCM 2012 will be broad, covering theory, algorithm, programming, coding, numerical simulation, High Performance Computing techniques, error and uncertainty analysis and/or novel applications of computational techniques to problems in engineering, science, and other disciplines related to computations.
