Liangliang's great grandmother

Liangliang is a boy of about 4 years old, his family live in the same community with us. Liangliang's father is about 30, he works as a guard in our school. Liangliang's mother works in a prison. When Liangliang was young, he was accompanied by his great grandmother. Except Liangliang, other kids in the neighborhood are all looked after by their parents or grandparents. So, Liangliang's condition is much different from others. Because Liangliang's parents are in their 30s, his grandparenst mus be in their 50s or 60s, this is a good age for babysitting. However, we never saw them. Because I don't work in the same department with Liangliang's father, a young and smiling man, so I don't know why Liangliang's grandparents don't come. When Liangliang didn't go to kindgarten, that is Liangliang was younger than three, his great grandmother was busy, because at daytime, Liangliang's parents were seldom home, Liangliang was with his great grandmother. Liangliang's great grandmother looked healthy at that time, although we know she was in her 80s. An old lady from northeast China often walked and talked with Liangliang's great grandmother. They must be good friends. But later, the old lady left. And as time goes on, Liangliang also went to kindgarten. After that, we did not see Liangliang's great grandmother for some time. When we saw her again, we found she was much thinner than before, and looked not very healthy. My mother has lived here for several years to look after my daughter. At that time, she also talked with Liangliang's great grandmother. So, at present, when I met Liangliang's great grandmother and said hello to her, she often asked me, does your mother come? I said no. She often told me that she was going to buy some yoghourt. This noon, when I went home, I met Liangliang's great grandmother again, this time, she walked to the same direction with me, so we talked more than saying hello. I asked her age. She said her year of birth is sheep, she was in her 80s, and asked whether I can calculate her age, I said no. She said she was born in 1930, I said, so you are 82 now. My grandmother is 83 years old now. She is easy-going and kind. When my mother was eight-month old, my grandfather passed away. So it was very hard for her to take care the children. When we stayed with her，she talked about her sorrowful experience. |
