[求助] 編輯發(fā)回讓小修（動(dòng)物分子育種類的文章），一個(gè)問(wèn)題想請(qǐng)教一下如何回答,謝謝！

審稿人意見(jiàn)如下：The description of statistical analyses is unclear. It needs to be thoroughly rephrased. What is the reason of using both SPSS and SAS programs? Animal model is not implemented in SPSS or SAS programs unless not mentioned author libraries or functions have been used.
Have association analyses been carried out on direct additive breeding values?

我的論文內(nèi)容如下：
Statistical analysis
Statistical analysis of associations between genotypes and the selected traits of F2 chickens were carried out using SPSS 19.0 according to the following linear mixed model:
Yijklm=μ+Gi+Sj+Hk+fl +eijklm
Where, Yijklm is the dependent variable (analyzed traits); μ is the overall mean; Gi is the fixed effect of genotype or haplotype; Sj is the fixed effect of sex; Hk is the fixed effect of hatch, fl is the random effect of family, eijklm is the random error.
The SNP-traits association analysis was done in two steps. First, we used the full animal model which included fixed effects of marker genotype, sex, hatch and a random effect of family. Second, on the basis of the first step, we used the reduced animal model in order to exclude the effects that did not have a significant influence (p>0.05) on the variability of traits.
SAS 8.0 program was used to analyze the additive and dominance effects of the SNP which has significant associations with the selected traits by REG procedure (additive effect with -1, 0 and 1 representing GG (TT), GA (TG) and AA (GG) genotypes, respectively; dominant effect with 1, -1 and 1 representing GG (TT), GA (TG) and AA (GG) genotypes, respectively.

用SAS是因?yàn)楫?dāng)時(shí)用SAS驗(yàn)證一下發(fā)現(xiàn)結(jié)果一致，就手賤的多寫了個(gè)SAS，暈。。。

為什么用了SPSS和SAS兩個(gè)軟件？SPSS和SAS軟件中并沒(méi)有執(zhí)行Animal model （這塊不是很明白）。對(duì)direct additive breeding values做沒(méi)做其它的相關(guān)的分析？

原來(lái)是這個(gè)意思Presented linear mixed model is a family (sire-dam) model and not an animal one which is related to A (the numerator relationship matrix - Henderson, 1973). As far as I know, neither SAS nor SPSS build A matrix directly, so they do not use the animal model. Moreover, SAS and SPSS are operationally similar statistical packages.
