This test method covers the determination of the inorganic
residue as ash in the analysis sample of coal or coke as
prepared in accordance with Practice D2013 or Practice D346.
The results obtained can be applied as the ash in the proximate
analysis, Practice D3172, and in the ultimate analysis, Practice
D3176. For the determination of the constituents in ash,
reference is made to Test Methods D2795 and D3682. See
Terminology D121 for definition of ash.

本測試方法涵蓋了按照D2013或D346慣例準(zhǔn)備的煤或焦炭樣品中的以粉煤灰形式存在的無機殘渣物的測定方法。所得結(jié)果也可用于類似分析——D3172慣例，以及最終分析——D3176慣例中的粉煤灰測定。對于粉煤灰成分的測定，主要參考方法D2795和D3682。詳見術(shù)語D121，為粉煤灰的定義。
