| When A (3 × 10-5mol / L, water) interacted with Na+, K+, Mg2+, Ca2+, Ba2+, Fe3+, Cu2+, Cd2+ and Pb2+ (metal ions 9 × 10-5mol/L), variable fluorescence quenching of A was seen. However, when Zn2+ was introduced in this case, A showed significantly increased intensity of fluorescence emission peak at 454 nm on quenching of the fluorescence emission peak at 370 nm, exhibiting ratiometric fluorescence. Therefore, compound A meets the prerequisite for ratiometric fluorescent probe for detecting Zn2+. |
