很好的一本書，值得讀一讀。主要側(cè)重于理論模型的應(yīng)用而不是推導(dǎo)過(guò)程，針對(duì)實(shí)際的問(wèn)題如何選擇合適計(jì)算模型。 It focuses on the underpinnings of molecular mechanics and quantum chemical methods, their relationship with “chemical observables”, their performance in reproducing known quantities and on the application of practical models to the investigation of molecular structure and stability and chemical reactivity and selectivity. 本書的內(nèi)容組織也很有特色。第一章是勢(shì)能面的介紹，因?yàn)槲覀冇?jì)算得到的分子結(jié)構(gòu)和過(guò)渡態(tài)結(jié)構(gòu)進(jìn)而得到體系的熱力學(xué)和動(dòng)力學(xué)性質(zhì)都要從勢(shì)能面的解釋出發(fā)。這個(gè)認(rèn)識(shí)確實(shí)是揭示了化學(xué)問(wèn)題的本質(zhì)。 Potential Energy Surfaces as the connection between structure and energetics, and shows how molecular equilibrium and Transition-state geometry as well as thermodynamic and kinetic information follow from interpretation of potential energy surfaces. 接下來(lái)的內(nèi)容分為計(jì)算模型部分，計(jì)算體系部分，實(shí)用計(jì)算策略和案例分析。 書中使用的數(shù)據(jù)是用Spartan 程序完成的。 |
