The standards are in part given by how things cohere with the world, as found out by observation and experiment, and displayed in the evidence. 對于理工科學(xué)生而言，值得重點注意的是，評判運動和論證過程中的相對性并不意味著就缺乏客觀性。無論是科學(xué)家還是普通人，在研究問題時都需要一套相關(guān)的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，即哪些能夠作為證據(jù)，或那些能作為一個合理的論證過程。而標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的來源在部分意義上而言，是要通過說明事物與世界是如何相互聯(lián)系的，可以通過觀察和試驗，并運用證據(jù)予以演示。 |
