個(gè)人有個(gè)Lenovo的電腦，安裝了 Ubuntu 12.01. 最近業(yè)務(wù)需要，要使用MS，想安裝一個(gè)MS5.0 1，電腦系統(tǒng)的信息如下： Memory,1.9GiB; Processor,Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E6700 @ 3.20GHz × 2; OS type,32-bit; Disk,490.2GB; 2，有正版的MS5.0包 ： MaterialsStudio50UNIX_C13583.tgz 3，個(gè)人帳號(hào)為popeye 安裝過程如下： 首先，打開終端，在popeye目錄下輸入tar后，解壓。 popeye@popeye-Lenovo$~>tar -zxvf /home/popeye/Downloads/MaterialsStudio50UNIX_C13583.tgz > ~/ms50.tar.1.txt 2> ~/ms50.tar.err.1.txt;lt 其次，進(jìn)入目錄： popeye@popeye-Lenovo$~/MaterialsStudio50/UNIX> 輸入：popeye@popeye-Lenovo$~/MaterialsStudio50/UNIX>./Install Running Materials Studio installer for platform Linux... ubuntu是安裝不上ms的 debian系列的貌似都不行（反正我是沒有安裝成功過） 嘗試過 Fedora CentOS 安裝ms 都沒有問題 |

在本區(qū)內(nèi)搜索一下我的主題帖，有篇Fedora安裝MS 5.0的，其中我自己的一個(gè)回帖就是Ubuntu安裝MS 5.0。 由于自己不使用Ubuntu，所以當(dāng)時(shí)給別人安裝的系統(tǒng)上還剩一個(gè)臨時(shí)目錄的位置沒有搞好，其他的都沒有問題了。 其中，重要的幾點(diǎn)是，第一，Ubuntu可能沒有安裝csh；第二，Ubuntu默認(rèn)使用的是dash而不是常用的bash，這給很多MS的設(shè)置腳本造成了極端討厭的麻煩；第三，Ubuntu缺乏很多安裝和啟動(dòng)MS的庫，這些庫需要到Debian的源中去找�？偠灾蟾攀且垓v那么半個(gè)來下午才能折騰玩的，如果是第一次折騰的話~ |

是否能夠使用并行，我個(gè)人不太懂，推薦您看一下這個(gè)： Configuring HP-MPI on parallel Linux systems ftp://210.45.212.113/incoming/up ... info_UNIX.htm#hpmpi 我的本意是用自己的電腦（Ubuntu）做一些前期的工作，然后把作業(yè)提交到別的服務(wù)器上面。 可我理解到我安裝的這個(gè)軟件是直接安裝在服務(wù)器上，計(jì)算從windows 客戶端（Windows client ,no linux client）提交上來的作業(yè)。 Users must download and install the Materials Studio client to their Windows based PC. No desktop Linux of Macintosh versions are currently available.
