1 Similar changes were observed when mice were administered an antagonistic soluble DLL4 fusion protein (the extracellular domain of DLL4 fused to human IgG1 Fc), a Notch1-specific inhibitory antibody, or the γ-secretase inhibitor dibenzazepine (DBZ) (M. Yan et al., unpublished data), indicating that these changes reflect a class effect of inhibiting DLL4-mediated Notch signalling. 2 Because the antibody used in our study crossreacts with DLL4 proteins from multiple species, we extended our studies to rats (Sprague–Dawley) and cynomolgus monkeys (Macaca fascicularis). |
