Dear professor *****， I am looking for a research opportunity in your university as a visiting scholar. The China Scholarship Council (CSC) has approved my request to research abroad as a visiting scholar. They have agreed to provide me with 1400-1800 dollars per month along with a round-trip ticket as financial support for one year（Aug.2013—Aug.2014 or Jan 2014---Jan 2015）. I am an associate professor of *****. My research area focuses on public policy, infrastructure investment and public economics. I have published 30 articles and a works on infrastructure investment and public policy since 2003. Your researches are of particular interest to me, especially in economic policy, Your group’s research is so outstanding that I believe that if given the opportunity to research under your guidance, the experience at your university can improve my research capacity, enlarge my knowledge in this field, which will benefit me a lot. I would very much like to have the opportunity to be considered as a visiting scholar. I have attached my CV and the document of CSC approving my request to research abroad as a visiting scholar.
