這期間主要有天然產(chǎn)物的提取，并開發(fā)了大量原料藥和大量醫(yī)藥中間體項(xiàng)目。對(duì)天然產(chǎn)物的一般提取及分離方法（比如常用的溶劑提取法，超臨界萃取，超生促提，液液萃取，柱層析分離，制備色譜，凝膠色譜分離，常壓減壓蒸餾，精餾，分子蒸餾，沉淀法，結(jié)晶法等）有一定的研究。同時(shí)由于多年從事有機(jī)化學(xué)方面工作，對(duì)有機(jī)化合物各方面都有較為全面的了解。對(duì)有機(jī)化合物，天然產(chǎn)物的各種結(jié)構(gòu)鑒定常用方法如LC/GC-Ms，HNMR,IR，DSC，元素分析，旋光測(cè)定等有全面的了解。
