Experimental Materials and reagents ZSO was provided by a local company located in Hancheng, Shaanxi Province, China. This is a high yield area for Z.bungeanum Maxin. The chroma value of rough ZSO was 57. Peroxide and other chemicals were of analytical reagent grade and made from Tianli chemistry reagent Ltd of Tianjin city. Method Decoloration by peroxide Single factor test. The reaction was affected by many factors, such as peroxide content,reaction temperature, and reaction time. The factors can be optimized by conventional one factor-at-a-time method and statistical methods. Conventional methods involve changing one independent variable at a time while keeping other factors at a fixed level. Orthogonal test. Orthogonal test design was based on the principle of statistical mathematics,and the tests were arranged scientifically to solve multiple factor optimization requirements with reduced numbers of tests conducted. The influence of methanol-to-oil molar ratio, catalyst concentration, reaction temperature, and reaction time was tested. |
