急切請求幫助��！本來答應都給了意向函了，突然來了這種回信，請問還有必要繼續(xù)解釋嗎？ I have had to do some rethinking about your visit in light of the information recently supplied to me. In particular I am concerned about the fact that Government regulations here require your visit to be something quite different from an academic visit with informal guidance on my part, which was my original understanding what your visit would entail. Given my other commitments within my School I have some serious reservations about my ability to perform what’s actually required of me under the category of Occupational Training Program, would be the formal nature of your visit, given that you are ineligible to visit under the visiting academic program. It appears I’m required to act much more like a formal supervisor similar to that of a PhD supervisor, which was not my understanding of the arrangement. Regrettably I could not agree to act as a the supervisor for your visit under these requirements. Added to this is concern about my School being unable to provide formal training and skills acquisition required as part of an Occupational Training Program. I’m sorry to have to inform you of this now but it has only come to our attention in the last couple of weeks what was actually required by Government both on the part of our School and on my part in order for you to visit us. The requirements imposed on us by these regulations I assure you were quite unanticipated by those of us within the School |
