關(guān)于期刊要求縮文章的問(wèn)題

請(qǐng)問(wèn)期刊發(fā)郵件要求把文章從12頁(yè)縮到8頁(yè)，我也大概只能縮到9頁(yè)左右，而且縮了后圖變得很小，這樣會(huì)不會(huì)影響被錄用的概率呢？而且期刊發(fā)郵件讓縮文章被錄用的概率大嗎？主要是我的文章5月5號(hào)才投的，按理應(yīng)該還沒(méi)經(jīng)過(guò)review的。但是我之前也投了一篇文章到這個(gè)期刊，也是12頁(yè)的，也每頁(yè)讓我縮就under review. 下面是期刊發(fā)來(lái)的郵件，請(qǐng)指教。 I very much appreciate your submission of the paper “XXX” to the Transactions on Industrial Electronics. THE SUBMITTED PAPER IS OVERLENGTH. Please notice that standard/allowed paper length for publication in IEEE Transaction on Industrial Electronics is 08 pages only. We have been receiving immense number of manuscripts for publication but we are unable to publish overlength papers due to space limitation of TIE Journal. Therefore, we are gratified to authors for restricting their papers up to no more than 08 pages including bibliography, bio and etc. However, addition of 1 or 2 pages may be adjusted (not for bio or photos) after the review process, if the paper is accepted. We shall appreciate and accept your manuscript if you please reduce your paper to 08 pages length and resubmit. Thank you for your understanding.
