International Top Talent is looking for Senior Researcher Polymer – Chemicals Industry Location: Shanghai You will work in a leading multinational chemicals company. This company is active in the fields of coating and chemical specialties and has activities in over 79 countries. You will execute research projects in the polymer chemistry and provide innovations to the business within China and globally. You will work in a team of researchers on high-level research projects and will be in close contact with the business. The company offers you extensive training and coaching opportunities. Your responsibilities • Conduct research with a primary technical focus on polymer synthesis or organic synthesis, work professionally, scientifically and deliver outcomes in a timely manner • Ensure appropriate project and business communication • Work collaboratively with internal technical network and external parties to keep a consistent quality of work and an up-to-date knowledge • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the relevant scientific and technical literature to ensure that new ideas, methods and approaches are incorporated • Work closely together with businesses to ensure that all relevant business information and business strategy/needs are taken into account • Direct, motivate and supervise team members, who may assist in carrying out projects. • Stimulate and initiate innovative research Are you the one we are looking for? • PhD or Master degree in Polymer science, Polymer Chemistry or related studies • Minimal 5 years (incl. PhD research time) of polymer chemistry research experience, with a broad knowledge of polymer science • Preferable industrial experience in coating, adhesive or chemicals • Strong team spirit; able to work in a team, helpful to others and eager to reach results as a team • Project management experience; planning, time management, result oriented and communicating with team members • Excellent communication skills • Good oral and written English and Chinese language skills Benefits You will receive a market competitive salary and benefits.
