求助：Vasp安裝問題，持續(xù)二天未摸到頭緒，大蝦救命

貧僧第一次發(fā)帖,linux菜鳥，只懂得一些簡單命令，使用linux系統(tǒng)版本：ubuntu8.04 筆記本聯(lián)想G480，32位，官網(wǎng)上沒有l(wèi)inux下的驅(qū)動程序，故而在ubuntu下無法上網(wǎng) 貧僧以前不是干這一行的，剛剛涉足第一性原理計算領域，欲安裝Vasp軟件，看到論壇中有一篇帖子關于vasp4.6的安裝（鏈接：http://www.gaoyang168.com/html/201109/2956358.html），按上面的來，輸入： sudo apt-get install build-essential sudo apt-get install libstdc++5 均顯示找不到軟件包，利用ubuntu8.04.iso掛載，好不容易費了半天時間才算是把build-essential給弄好，libstdc++5也找了半天，最后不知道是否弄好（極有可能沒弄好）。 安裝intel fotran編譯器，版本是11.0.069，前面還算順利，但是到一步卻卡住了，Terminal顯示信息為： Step no: 6 of 7 | Installation -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Each component will install individually. | 我們課題組也是用VASP我也是靠自己的筆記本學習VASP的，我剛開始用的是虛擬機，后來老板看我還能折騰，給我先配了臺式機做test，弄好了再去集群算，你如果不建議學習的時候可以用vmware+linux學習，如果覺得linux方便，我給你推薦一個系統(tǒng)吧，linuxmint，這是基于ubuntu的，但是卻比ubuntu更好，安裝VASP，直接安裝好ifort，編譯好VASP的makefile就可以，我安裝過很多，沒有出現(xiàn)問題，現(xiàn)在這個系統(tǒng)最新版的是15了， 給你送上鏈接：http://www.linuxmint.com/download.php，我今年1月份開學學習安裝VASP的，當時都快瘋了，睡覺都睡不好，折騰折騰就好了，反正在自己電腦上，不怕的，加油�。� |

1.樓主的ubuntu8.04也太老了吧�，F(xiàn)在最新都到13.04了。樓主換一下吧。 2.libstdc++5，下載deb包，ubuntu下直接雙擊安裝就行。 換個新的，一般驅(qū)動啥的支持都沒問題。百度直接搜ubuntu，下一個就行。做個ubuntu的u盤啟動盤，裝起來很方便的。 |
