Senior Scientist, protein/protein interaction, Protein Chemistry Department Responsibilities: Implement SPR and other biophysical technologies to provide affinity, specificity and kinetic data for protein/protein interactions to support protein characterization as well as drug target selection and validation Work closely with cross functional team members to provide scientific expertise and insights Build external visibility by maintaining good publication record and presenting own work at internal and external meetings Qualifications: Ph.D. in biophysics, biochemistry, protein chemistry or related fields with >2yrs of postdoc training or industrial working experience Excellent working knowledge and solid expertise in using Biacore/SPR or other biosensor technologies across a broad range of assays to characterize protein/protein interaction Deep understanding of protein and their biochemical and biophysical properties Excellent research and publication track record Hand-on experience in lab scale protein purification and characterization using techniques such as UPLC/HPLC and DLS is preferred Proactive and collaborative to work in a dynamic, innovative, and interdependent research environment Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential |
