The 8th International Conference on Frontier of Computer Science and Technology（FCST2014） http://umc.uestc.edu.cn/conference/FCST2014 Dec. 19th - 21st, 2014, Chengdu, Sichuan, China -------------- CALL FOR PAPER -------------- FCST2014 is intended to facilitate effective communications and exchanges all over the world. It will not only reflect the significant progresses that are currently being made in computer science and technology, but also represent a powerful and unique forum for discussing innovative, cutting-edge advances in all aspects of computer science and technology from researchers and practitioners in academia, government and corporate institutions around the globe. FCST2014 will be held on Dec. 19th-21st, 2014 in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. FCST2014 is an international forum for presenting and discussing emerging ideas and trends in the frontier of computer science and technology from both the research community as well as the industry. Topics of interest in this year focus on 9 popular areas in particular, but are not limited to: ● Track 1. Parallel and Distributed Computing ● Track 2. Trust, Security and Privacy ● Track 3. Automation and Control Engineering ● Track 4. Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence ● Track 5. Multimedia Systems and Networks ● Track 6. Embedded Computing and Systems ● Track 7. Emerging Software Techniques ● Track 8. Applications, Business and Social Issues ● Track 9. CPS and Internet of things ---------------------- JOURNAL SPECIAL ISSUES ---------------------- Distinguished papers accepted and presented in FCST2014, after further extensions, will be published in special issues of the several SCI/SCIE/EI Indexed Journals. ● IEEE System Journal (SCIE Indexed IF:1.27) ● International Journal of Ad Hoc and Ubiquitous Computing (SCIE Indexed IF:0.435) ● Journal of Internet Technology (SCIE Indexed IF:0.448) ● International Journal of Communication Systems (SCIE Indexed IF:0.229) ● More to be confirmed --------------- IMPORTANT DATES --------------- Submission Deadline: Aug. 15th, 2014 Author Notification: Sep. 15th, 2014 Camera Ready: Sep. 30th, 2014 Registration Deadline: Sep. 30th, 2014 --------- WORKSHOPS --------- The FCST2014 Organizing Committee invites proposals for one-day workshops affiliated with the conference and addressing research areas related to the conference. The workshop proceedings will be published by IEEE CS Press. Submit workshop proposals to workshops chairs via emails (E-mail: fcst2014conference@gmail.com). ---------------- PAPER SUBMISSION ---------------- Papers need to be prepared according to the IEEE format, and submitted in PDF format via the FCST2014 submission site: http://umc.uestc.edu.cn/conferen ... papersubmission.php ------------------ PAPER PUBLICATION ------------------ Accepted and presented papers will be included into the IEEE Conference Proceedings published by IEEE CS Press (indexed by EI). Authors of accepted papers, or at least one of them, are requested to register and present their work at the conference, otherwise their papers will be removed from the digital libraries of IEEE CS and EI after the conference. Distinguished papers accepted and presented in FCST2014, after further extensions, will be published in special issues of several SCI/EI Indexed journals.
