[求助]
optics communications返回意見(jiàn)minor revision，但意見(jiàn)我沒(méi)大看懂。。。求助 已有3人參與

各位大神，小弟最近往op投了篇論文，主要是寫(xiě)一種新型的單光子探測(cè)器結(jié)構(gòu)，返回意見(jiàn)很快，只有一個(gè)專(zhuān)家意見(jiàn)，他的大致意思是我的仿真做的很好，但結(jié)果不能說(shuō)明這個(gè)探測(cè)器能夠?qū)崿F(xiàn)單光子探測(cè)，最后他寫(xiě)了這么一句： I recommend that the paper be accepted once the authors remove reference to single photon counting. remove reference是啥意思？是讓我不要把探測(cè)器定位成單光子探測(cè)器嗎？各位大神以前有沒(méi)有遇到過(guò)類(lèi)似情況？ |

還有木有大神給點(diǎn)意見(jiàn)，我再把專(zhuān)家質(zhì)疑的那部分摘錄上，大神們給我出出主意應(yīng)該怎么改啊！ However, the claim that this device is appropriate for single photon detection are not justified. It is true that the authors can see a shift between the dark and illuminated characteristics with ~ single photon input pulses. However, the dark current is comparable to the photocurrent, which will result in excessive dark counts in Geiger mode. In linear mode, the signal to noise ratio is too small. For example, in a typical optical receiver, the dark current of the APD is a few nA while the minimum detectable power for digital transmission is on the order of a few microamperes. If the authors intend to use this device in linear mode, they need to show that the noise will not be greater than that for a standard avalanche photodiode. I recommend that the paper be accepted once the authors remove reference to single photon counting. |
