3 Marie Curie Experienced Researchers, ER (PostDoc position), for ITN “Complex Wetting Phenomena” (CoWet) at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HUJI) Complex wetting Phenomena (CoWet) is a supra-disciplinary project aiming at bridging the gap between industrially relevant processes involving complex fluid-solid interactions and the resolution experiments, as well as physically sound modeling and direct computer simulations. Project title: Interaction of nanoparticle-based conductive inks with solid substrates (Work Package 13) Supervisor: Prof. Shlomo Magdassi (HUJI) The research will be focused on understanding the effect of physicochemical properties of inks based on metal and semiconductor nanoparticles on the interaction with the substrate: spreading, drying rate, and self-assembly of the nanoparticles. Methodology: Methods of synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles and their dispersions, inkjet ink formulation, printing, characterization of self-assembled structures using various methods. The hired ER has to have expertise in experimental techniques in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology. The ER will be recruited for 36 months. The position is already available.
