Oxidative stresses could link to various diseases, which the important factors from the two main types of exogenous and endogenous, those are related to environmental stress, include water/soil drought stress, chilling injury stress and sound wave stress. Some studies have reported from floral buds, flowers and cut leaves of Dendrobium in cold storage that influence, indicating they can lead to chilling injury symptoms among from the production of reactive oxygen species and oxidative stress, in the process of development, to decrease cellular functions by peroxidation of membrane lipids from lipoxygenase enzymes is degraded in cells. Interestingly, both floral buds and flowers were observed in the physiological processes by a part of antioxidant defense capability, which can decrease the content of oxygen free radicals and other oxygen levels. Results show that the floral buds and flowers can be protective cellular functions and antioxidant capacity, may be related to regulation of lipoxygenase enzymes. This is an adaptive nature to ensure some plants survival in the freezing winter. |

| Oxidative stress can be an important factor related to various diseases, mainly divided into internal and external causes two types, those related to environmental stress, including water/soil drought stress, low temperature stress of chilling injury and acoustic stress. Existing research chilling injury of caulis dendrobii bud, flowers and the influence of the cutting blade. According to their symptoms of chilling injury from active free radicals generated by oxidative stress. In the process of development, through the lipoxygenase degradation caused by the membrane lipid peroxidation of cause a decrease in cell function. It is interesting to note that bud and flower in the process of physiological has observed some antioxidant ability, reducing oxygen free radicals and the oxygen levels. Results show that the antioxidant ability and flower buds and flowers to protect cell function may be associated with the regulation of lipoxygenase. This is to ensure that the adaptability of some plants live in the depths of winter. |
