As temperature decreases, primary α-Mg is formed and the generated fine α-Mg phases by transformation act as crystallization |

α-Ti crystal will appear in the form of crastal in the melt before peritectic transformation,then α-Mg nucleation that attaches itself to the surface of α-Ti will occur and the good dispersed α-Mg phases will be formed. As temperature decreases, As temperature decreases, the primary α-Mg is formed directly and the small particles of α-Mg generated by transformation act as crystallization nuclei. |
