In recent years, some reported as HIV-1 inhibitor by some Chinese medicine herbs to detailed discussion. Studies on the sample of Eucommia uloides Oliver (EUO) using photochemistry technology to isolate a compound, with tannins. It have potent against HIV-1 activity in order to inhibit HIV gp41 six-helix bundle formation. This is to confirm that the tannins could be a promising new anti-HIV natural drug. Although, the pharmacological mechanism of tannins on HIV are still limited. The problems will need to be studied in near future.  |

In recent years，some reports have detailedly reported that Chinese medicine herbs could be the inhibitor of HIV-1.Studies on EUO for an example,people used photochemistry technology to isolate a compound which is tannins.It has inhibited effectively the six-helix bundle formation of HIVgp41 to resist the activity of HIV.It has proved that tannin is a promising new anti-HIV natural medicine.Although, the pharmacological mechanism of tannins on HIV are still insufficient.The problems will need to be studied in near future. |
