On the other hand, in different countries/localities findings of fossil specimen from EA species, with the part of fruits have been investigated. The fruits of E. montana and E. eocenica species are records and identified. These fruit evolution may have involved increases in samara size and symmetry, and also found the seeds number from two to one, that perhaps as adaptations for wind dispersal. But the samaras are smaller than those related species.
