加拿大Alberta大學(xué) ECE系 Dr. Zubin Jacob 想招一名Postdoct,研究方向是Quantum materials 老板是印度人，但是說話基本沒什么口音，善于社交，非常聰明，非常helpful，剛剛評(píng)上副教授，貌似是UAlberta最年輕的教授吧。組里風(fēng)氣是比較自由的，學(xué)術(shù)氛圍比較濃 厚，有來自印度中國伊朗和加拿大本地的總共9名學(xué)生。主頁：www.ece.ualberta.ca/~ zjacob 老板說postdoc會(huì)給很好的待遇，歡迎發(fā)郵件咨詢 具體信息如下： Project: Quantum materials Strong background in theoretical physics (condensed matter physics) ; The post doctoral fellow will be responsible to lead the project with considerable responsibilities and opportunity to travel/interact with leading scientists around the world Candidates will collaborate with researchers from Physics as well as ECE. Many applications such as sensing, imaging and thermal sources will drive the fundamental studies. With over 60 faculty members in various subdisciplines, it has been traditionally reputed especially for its Engineering Physics subdivision. U of A also boasts of the best NanoFab center in Canada with state of the art facilities for nanofabrication and also the National Institute of NanoTechnology (NINT), a government sponsored nanotech research lab. Living in Edmonton U of A is situated in the heart of Edmonton, the capital of Alberta, a beautiful multicultural city where students from diverse backgrounds can feel at home. The city has the longest stretch of urban parkland in North America making it an ideal place for urban living as well as relaxation and adventure. The year round festivals for theater and music in the city very close to the campus provide a great get away for students to unwind. Not surprisingly , Edmonton is known in Canada as “The Festival City”! |
