Suitable candidates can also enroll via the Division of Physics and Applied Physics. Experimental physical chemistry research at NTU is carried out in multiple modern laser laboratories that house state-of-the-art equipment. Theoretical and computational chemistry is supported by the NTU High Performance Computing Center. Recipients of the NTU Research Scholarship will be offered a tuition fee waiver along with a monthly stipend of SGD2,000 (RMB 9,800); the stipend increases to SGD2,500 upon successful advancement to candidacy in the second year of studies. On-campus graduate student accommodation is available. Please note that GRE and TOEFL are not required for admission to NTU. However, NTU will administer its own entrance examination and admissions interview in Shanghai or Beijing in early-September. Interested applicants are encouraged to e-mail their cover letter, curriculum vitae, and academic transcripts to either of the faculty members listed above before 24-Aug-2014. Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the venue and time for the entrance exam and admissions interview after the necessary documents are received. |
