The First International Workshop on Mobile Cloud TaaS MCTaaS 2015 San Francisco Bay, March 30th 2015 www.engr.sjsu.edu/gaojerry/MTaas/ The First International Workshop on Mobile Cloud TaaS (MCTaaS 2015) will be hold on March 30th 2015,in San Francisco Bay. In conjunction with the 9th IEEE International Symposium on Service Oriented System Engineering (SOSE 2015) (http://sose2015.com/). This workshop is intended to provide a new platform for researchers and practitioners to exchange new ideas and share state-of-the-art research results and solutions in mobile cloud testing and TaaS.The recent years have seen the emerge of increasingly complex mobile applications due to the wide use of mobile devices such as smart mobile phones, tablets, sensors, etc. This imposes grave challenges to mobile application developers to ensure the quality of such applications due to the high costs and complexity for developing such systems. On the other hand, cloud and mobile computing technologies offer new opportunities for providing cloud and mobile testing-as-a-service (TaaS). It is expected that revenue from mobile application testing tools will rise from $200 million in 2012 to $800 million by 2017 (ABI research).
