| The mixture of Shendong coal (Shenhua Shendong Coal Group Corporation Limited) and Shenhua coal liquefaction residue (Shenhua Group Corporation Limited) was subjected to microwave-assisted pyrolysis. The effects of microwave power, pyrolysis time, mixture particle size and mixture wt ratio on the final yield were evaluated. Such techniques as SEM and GC-MS were employed for the analysis and characterization of the final product. The results showed that a maximum tar yield of 19.01% was achieved from a 6 : 4 (wt/wt) mixture after 40 min pyrolysis under a microwave power of 800 W. Moreover, a maximum aromatic compounds content of 75.36%, together with a minimum olfines content, was witnessed in the tar product under these conditions; the tar stability was the highest. |
