The Waste and Disposal expert group (Institute for Environment, Health and Safety) conducts research on nuclear waste, its surrounding engineered and natural barriers, and the migration/retention behavior of safety relevant radionuclides. It is composed of a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists specialized in material sciences, geology, geochemistry, radiochemistry and reactive transport phenomena. |
