蘇州西交利物浦大學(xué)博士研究生招生（風(fēng)沙地貌方向，英國利物浦大學(xué)博士學(xué)位）

西交利物浦大學(xué)（Xi’an Jiao Tong-Liverpool University, XJTLU）經(jīng)中國教育部正式批準，由西安交通大學(xué)和英國利物浦大學(xué)合作在蘇州創(chuàng)立的，具有獨立法人和鮮明特色的新型國際大學(xué)。它是中國目前唯一一所強強合作，以理、工、管起步，以英語教學(xué)為主的的中外合作大學(xué)。她位于美麗的蘇州獨墅湖高教區(qū)。 與國內(nèi)一般大學(xué)不同，雖然學(xué)生將在西交利物浦大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)，但是卻在英國利物浦大學(xué)注冊，在畢業(yè)時也將被授予英國利物浦大學(xué)的博士學(xué)位，在3年培養(yǎng)期間，學(xué)校提供全額獎學(xué)金（免學(xué)費+3500人民幣/月的生活津貼），并資助學(xué)生參與國際會議。學(xué)生將會由西交利物浦大學(xué)導(dǎo)師和英國利物浦大學(xué)導(dǎo)師共同指導(dǎo)。 學(xué)生一旦錄取，將參與一個阻沙柵欄風(fēng)沙動力方面的課題，以下是該項目的簡介 Fences are often used for two purposes: reducing wind erosion or trapping sand. Most fence studies have the focus on how the configurations of fences affect wind erosion. However, the sand trapping effect research has been mostly descriptive. Therefore this research is to examine the topographic adjustment of the newly formed dunes as a function of fence configurations and wind conditions using the experiments both in the wind tunnel and in the field. In the wind tunnel experiment, flow field around fences, sand transport patterns, and the shape change of the newly formed dunes will be measured periodically around fence models with different designs. In the field, full scale sand fences with similar configurations will be deployed, which can be used to validate the wind tunnel experiments. This work will contribute to the further understanding of complex sand-wind-dune-fence four-way coupling processes and also provide guidance for the real-world practices. 本項目的主導(dǎo)師是西交利物浦大學(xué)環(huán)境科學(xué)系李柏良博士 （http://academic.xjtlu.edu.cn/envsci/Staff/bailiang-li） 共同導(dǎo)師是利物浦大學(xué)地理與規(guī)劃學(xué)系A(chǔ)ndy Plater教授 （http://www.liv.ac.uk/environmental-sciences/staff/andrew-plater/） 對申請人和申請材料的要求 1. 具有在地理、地質(zhì)、地球科學(xué)、環(huán)境科學(xué)，或相關(guān)學(xué)科的本科以上學(xué)位 （最好是有研究風(fēng)沙地貌的野外或者風(fēng)洞的研究經(jīng)歷）。 2. 有效的雅思考試成績，6.5分及以上。 4. 兩封推薦信，個人簡介，申請書，成績單、畢業(yè)證書等。 5. 其它，如發(fā)表過的論文，以及其他幫助你申請的材料。 具體招生信息請參考 http://www.xjtlu.edu.cn/attachme ...
