1. In M&Ms Authors wrote that data were tested by one-way ANOVA (Tukey). However, no ANOVA results were demonstrated further. It is clear from the section “Effect of Zn on plant biomass” that Authors tried to find toxic thresholds for stem or leaf growth using Tukey test for multiple comparisons. Indeed, using nonlinear regression analysis (with lognormal, exponential decay models, etc.) would be more correct and productive in this search. If no toxic threshold was reached in the experiment, at least linear regression could be used to show the trend towards growth inhibition by Zn excess. 2. It is better to present figures 1 and 2 as scatterplots with lines of fit, obtained in regression analysis, since there is not much sense in using mean and standard deviations for three replicates. 審稿人提出這么兩個問題，我該怎么回答啊，尤其是第一個using Tukey test for multiple comparisons。還有，我這個實(shí)驗(yàn)室一個重金屬脅迫植物生長，含有0濃度，濃度依次升高，能做什么曲線啊，線性？感覺不太好。。 |
