Although there are no distinct differences observed in cell density
among the three modified films (Figure 3b-d), the cell morphology
on the NH3 plasma-treated surfaces (Figure 3b) or the PEGMALlinked
surfaces (Figure 3c) look rather different from that on the
RGD-modified surface (Figure 3d). The former are mainly round
and flattened (Figure 3b,c), whereas the latter are mostly spindle-like
(Figure 3d), similar to normal 3T3 cells. Such differences are most
shown in Figure 4, one day after cell seeding, there were slightly
more cells that adhered to the RGD-modified surface than to the
unmodified surface. After 3 or 5 days of culture, the amount of
living cells on the RGD-modified film dramatically increased and
is significantly more than that on the unmodified film.

雖然在三個(gè)修飾膜（圖3b-d)當(dāng)中沒有觀察到細(xì)胞密度有明顯的差異,在NH3等離子體處理過的表面（圖3b)或PEGMAL耦合的表面（圖3c）的泡孔形態(tài)看起來(lái)更不同于RGD修飾表面（圖3d）的泡孔形態(tài)。前者主要是圓的和扁平的,而后者絕大部分是紡錘狀（圖3d）,與正常的3T3細(xì)胞相似。這種差異的大部分如圖4所示,細(xì)胞接種一天之后,附著于RGD修飾表面的細(xì)胞比附著于未修飾的表面的細(xì)胞略多一點(diǎn)。培養(yǎng)三到五天之后, RGD修飾膜上的活細(xì)胞數(shù)量顯著地增加，明顯多于未修飾膜上的活細(xì)胞數(shù)量。
