意大利IMT盧卡高等教育學院 PhD招生

各位同學大家好，我是一名來自意大利IMT的中國學生，因為我的研究方向是計算機科學的基礎理論，所以發(fā)帖的時候選擇了計算機這個主題，希望版主見諒，但是學校還有別的研究方向。以下是學校的中文招生簡章 ： 親愛的各位同學： 您好！ 我們來自意大利IMT盧卡高等教育學院（IMT Institute for Advanced Studies Lucca，官方網(wǎng)站http://www.imtlucca.it/），是一所公立研究生學院和科研機構，主要研究領域是對經(jīng)濟、社會、技術和文化系統(tǒng)的分析。本學院正式成立于2005年11月18日，憑借我們優(yōu)質(zhì)創(chuàng)新的研究項目和博士生項目以及跨學科的特性，在學界獨樹一幟。 目前我們正在接收2015/16年度的博士項目申請，研究方向包含了經(jīng)濟學、計算機科學、物理學、應用數(shù)學、統(tǒng)計學、歷史學和文化遺產(chǎn)學。項目為期三年，并提供35個全額資助獎學金名額。申請截止日期為2015年6月29日意大利時間下午6點（北京時間2015年6月30日零點）。 我們位于意大利托斯卡納大區(qū)的盧卡市，這里擁有悠久的歷史文化和優(yōu)美的自然風光。本學院所在的圣弗朗西斯科綜合園區(qū)包含居住設施、餐廳、自習室、活動室和室外休閑空間，在專業(yè)性之外更增添了文化與社交的氛圍。 附件中是我們的招生簡章。如果您或您的同事和學生中有研究興趣與之相關的，請代為轉發(fā)推薦。我們期待來自中國的優(yōu)秀研究者的加入！ 如需更多信息，或是有任何問題，請聯(lián)系我們： PhD Office phdapplications@imtlucca.it Tel. +39 0583 4326 745 IMT Institute for Advanced Studies Lucca Office address: Piazza San Francesco, 19 - 55100 Lucca – Italy Mailing address and legal headquarters c/o: Piazza San Ponziano, 6 - 55100 Lucca – Italy 對了，學校提供免費的住宿（每周會有清潔人員來打掃房間和更換床單毛巾等用具），并且有學生卡可以免費在食堂用餐。學校隔壁是 一個很漂亮的教堂，經(jīng)常有音樂會（不是演唱會那種），本校學生一般可以會有免費的票。我本人很喜歡盧卡這個安靜的小城市，很適合做科研。 學校是一個國際性的研究所，教授和學生很大一部分不是意大利人，所以學校所有授課和學術講座都是英語進行，大家不用擔心語言問題， 如果有同學對學習意大利有興趣的話也很好，到學校之后，學校有專門請意大利語老師給對意大利語感興趣的同學進行授課，每周兩次，每次三小時，當然依然是免費的，哈哈。大家看完，有沒有一點點心動呢？那就趕快行動吧！ 更多信息，詳細見學校的網(wǎng)站。 謝謝大家！因為好多同學有發(fā)站內(nèi)信給我，想了解更多，我真誠的跟大家說，我只是一枚學生，不是招生部門的老師，了解的信息非常有限，其他的請大家可以到網(wǎng)站上自己查看。 1）每個月到手扣稅之后1000多一些，因為吃住不用自己負擔，所以其實我覺得這個收入還可以，然后意大利消費水平不是很高，相比德國瑞士這些國家. 2）對于CS, 基本相關招CS的都是要求碩士的，其實你來自什么學校不是很重要，重要的是你是不有興趣，背景跟申請的方向的相關程度，我覺得重點在于興趣啦，當然你得說服學校你是真的有興趣，通過申請的時候提交的personal statement。 3）經(jīng)濟學了解一些，也是要求碩士的. 其他的不太清楚了。 [ Last edited by xianfeiyan on 2015-5-18 at 23:30 ] 關于招生的更多信息 Useful information for our 2015/16 #PhD candidates: A) The list of candidates admitted to the interview will be published by the end of July (NOT BEFORE July 25th); B) The final list of the students admitted to the PhD program will be published after the conclusion of all interviews; C)The Invitation Letter (which is sent to the admitted foreign applicants at the embassy where they are applying for a visa) will be sent after the candidates have sent all the documents required for registration. Admitted candidates have 10 days from the publication of the shortlist to: 1. accept the scholarship; 2. register and, 3. send all the required documents to the PhD Office. After that, the PhD Office will prepare the invitation letters and send them to the admitted candidates (approximately 15 days after the applicant’s registration). PhD students at IMT enjoy the following benefits and services: Grants All students admitted to the PhD program are not required to pay tuition fees. A number of grants are available to support the participation to the program (see exact number in the current call. Additional grants may become available after the launch of the call). Grants are assigned to admitted students according to the final ranking determined by the evaluation process. The grant is �13,638.47 per year (≅ �12,378.30 net/year), and can be increased by 50% during the periods spent abroad for study and research (from 2 to 9 months). Accommodation All students who are granted a scholarship have free accommodation in shared double rooms on campus residential facilities (with the exception of students whose permanent residence is within 30km of IMT) Canteen All PhD students at IMT are offered free meals (lunch and dinner) at the school canteen located on campus. Lunch and dinner are served each day, Monday through Sunday, for the entire academic year.
