申請季臨近，有出國意愿的童鞋們想必都已經開始認真準備起來了吧~給大家提供一個招生信息，感興趣的童鞋好好利用~ Dr. Lei Chen，現在為Mississippi State University機械系的faculty。他的實驗室現在有兩個full funded PhD opening，是面向16 Spring和16 Fall的哦！有良好的數學、力學和編程背景的童鞋會很有競爭力~實驗室的 方向主要有(1) Micro-structure evolution and surface flow of additive manufacturing (3D printing) alloys; (2) Multi-scale and multi-physics modelling including phase transformation, stress evolution, ionic transport and thermal conductivity in energy storage materials such as lithium-ion batteries and super-capacito rs, as well as energy harvesting devices; (3) Novel numerical methodologies and /or techniques such as the advanced finite-element method and phase-field metho d for different engineering problems related to vehicles, e.g., fracture and fatigue, fluid-structure interaction and geometrically nonlinear phase transforma tion. 通過和Dr. Chen交談，我的感覺是Dr. Chen十分溫和，平易近人，善于且樂意與學生交流。郵件地址是：chen@me.msstate.edu。 大家趕緊聯系起來吧~ |
