PhD Student Positions in Civil Engineering [University of Alabama in Huntsville]

The Structural Hazard Mitigation and Intelligent Materials (SHM&IM) group at The University of Alabama in Huntsville is recruiting 1-2 students at PhD level for Spring and Fall 2016. Areas of interest include: Structural Engineering, Mechanics, Infrastructural Materials and Sustainability (see attachment for more details). TA/RA position will be offered to competent applicants. Benefits include full tuition-waiver, competitive stipend, and student health care plan. Room & board expenses will be covered for research travels (conferences, off-campus research, data collections etc.). Applicants should have a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
