[求助]
vasp可以計算帶電體系，那么現(xiàn)實中一個體系一般能做到帶電量多少？1e/unit cell？ 已有5人參與

vasp有一個NELECT參數(shù)，可以控制體系的電荷，比如grep NELECT OUTCAR是50，那么你在INCAR里寫49，相當(dāng)于體系少了一個電子，帶正電。而INCAR里寫51，就是帶一個單位負(fù)點。 兩個問題： 1.vasp計算的帶電體系所給出的能帶結(jié)構(gòu)可靠嗎？ 2.實際情況中，體系的帶電量能達(dá)到1個電子/unit cell嗎？ 如果能，是通過什么手段注入電荷呢？（加電場？） |

按照說明書，體系中帶點荷的話，要在POTCAR和POSCAR里面設(shè)定相應(yīng)的電荷ZVAL 如果體系電子數(shù)和體系中按照原子數(shù)*價電子數(shù)得到的總電子數(shù)目不符時，多出來的電荷按照均勻電子氣處理 |

看了一下手冊，似乎說的是均勻電荷背景。 有人說因為帶電體系的庫倫相互作用能積分會趨于無窮，所以只能引入背景電荷。 但是我還是不明白帶個電為什么就無窮了？ 不還是電子云之間的交換關(guān)聯(lián)勢，以及電子和core之間的相互作用嗎。 NELECT NELECT = [real] Default: NELECT = number of valence electrons Description: NELECT sets the number of electrons. Usually you should not set this line. The number of electrons is determined automatically from the POTCAR (ZVAL of the element) and POSCAR file (number of the atoms of the respective atom type). If the number of electrons is not compatible with the number derived from the valence and the number of atoms a homogeneous background charge is assumed. If the number of ions specified in the POSCAR file is 0 and NELECT=n, then the energy of a homogeneous LDA-electron gas is calculated. |
