JMPT審稿意見

本人第一次投稿，沒什么經(jīng)驗(yàn)。投的JMPT終于結(jié)束under review狀態(tài)了，歷時兩個月，回了一個審稿人意見和主編意見，給的大修建議，但很多地方很迷惑。 首先是審稿人給了我四十多條審稿意見，有四十條左右是關(guān)于語言的，比如把works改成work之類的。另外一些是關(guān)于推論分析的意見，最后審稿人給的是拒稿意見，搞不明白。下面是意見內(nèi)容： The manuscript is of interest to the automotive industry. Unfortunately, it contains numerous language errors and a lot of misprints. Some sentences are even not understood by the referee and must be fully reformulated. The manuscript is therefore recommended to be rejected. In case the authors wish to make a substantial revision of their manuscript, I enclose more detailed comments below. 另外是主編的意見，也沒看到很強(qiáng)的拒稿信息，不知道這是好事還是壞事。下面是意見內(nèi)容： I will give you the chance of revising the manuscript, but the English MUST be improved substantially. A large number of sentences employ expressions and/or words which do not correspond to common usage in the field of materials processing, specifically welding. I strongly advise (MANDATORY) you to contact one of the many available LANGUAGE EDITING SERVICES, for instance at: https://www.elsevier.com/wps/fin ... s/languagepolishing Abstract: The abstract needs to be rewritten. Please rewrite the abstract as per the following standard definition: The abstract is expected to include a brief digest of the research, that is, new methods, results, concepts and conclusions. Please avoid including background information (background information is redundant to the specialist) or using the title of the paper as opening line (This refers to your current top 6 lines, that should be deleted). Also, connecting or transitional words and phrases such as "In this paper, The results indicate, however, besides, on the other hand, etc.", are redundant in the abstract (just delete them). Abstract/main text: Sentences should not begin with conjunctions such as "And" "Because…" or "But". The use of conjunctions as starting words is acceptable in colloquial English, but it is out of place in formal writing. 想聽聽各位前輩有什么意見和建議，順便散點(diǎn)金幣祈點(diǎn)福吧。 |

我覺得語言潤色一下估計(jì)就問題不大了。另外請較一下樓主，這個期刊對參考文獻(xiàn)的引用真的有那么嚴(yán)格嗎，對每篇參考文獻(xiàn)都要寫出來別人的結(jié)果，然后評價工作，說明兌自己的研究的作用嗎？ 發(fā)自小木蟲IOS客戶端 |
