China puts together first ever bobsleigh team for 2022 Winter Olympics 已有3人參與

China continues with its effort to put together its first ever national bobsleigh team. The squad will need to be put in place for the 2022 Winter Games, which as you know will be held here in Beijing. The host nation of each Olympics has participants in every event, so that is why 150 athletes went through the first stage of physical training test in Shenyang, Liaoning province. The head coach of the new team Manuel Machata is being cautious about choosing team members. "Through these tests, we mainly want to know the explosive power, strength and speed of the athletes. We will also consider their height, weight and age to make a final decision," said Manuel Machata, China bobsleigh coach. 10 male & 10 female athletes will represent China The 31-year-old coach knows what he is looking for in a good bobsledder as the German has triumphed in the four-man race at the 2011 World Championships and claimed two golds in four-man and combined competition at 2010-11 World Cup Championships. The athletes in this trial will be selected based on how well they do during a set of physical test. 10 male and 10 female athletes will then be selected for a national team trial, with another 10 chosen as backup. 我的話：非常期待2022年的冬奧會(huì)，想想，那時(shí)候我都30多啦 |
