This role reports to the Director of Public Safety, and assist to handle administrative affairs and support other functions of Public Safety. 崗位職責(zé) Responsibilities * Ensure all NYU Shanghai facilities are in compliance with Chinese EHS regulations, and implement the standard and best practice according to NYU policies. * Develop and provide training to faculty, staff and students on EHS and fire safety matters to enhance their safety awareness on fire safety and lab safety. * Develop and maintain the emergency response procedures on environmental, health, severe weather and other safety issues. * Monitor NYU Shanghai’s safety progress through periodic evaluations of compliance and the effectiveness of NYU Shanghai’s EH&S guideline. * Ensure all hazardous materials (including chemicals, biological reagents and hazardous wastes) are in compliance with local regulations, and track the purchasing, storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials. * Establish and implement the programs of safety and health (e.g. chemical, biosafety and animal programs) to ensure students, faculty and staff are kept from harm. * Regularly inspect and maintain the safety facilities in academic building, students\' dormitory and laboratory, e.g. fire alarm system, fume hood, personal protective equipment, etc. * Serve as a primary liaison with authorities (environmental bureau, public security bureau, fire department, FDA, etc.) on University issues. * Perform other relevant EH&S duties and administrative support as assigned by the supervisor. 應(yīng)聘條件 Qualification 1，教育背景 Required Education Bachelor degree or above, majoring in biology or biochemistry is highly preferred. 2，研究/工作經(jīng)歷 Required Experience At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in laboratory or multinational companies. 3，技能和能力要求 Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Fluent English and Chinese * Excellent communication skills. * Experience in developing programs related to EH&S. * Experience in handling chemicals and biological reagents and managing of hazardous wastes. * Ability to work independently and under pressure * Good judgment especially in critical situations. ps：附件是上紐大招聘廣告原文 |
